So I just found out two days ago that I won't have the same job in eight mos. Or, put another way I will be out of my current job because my department lost it's contract to another company.

With that off my chest, I will look again at the outside wages with a renewed eye on my expenses. And I will have to begin brainstorming on increasing the "+" side.

With a child on the way I need that to change in the not-so-distant future. Or maybe at least maybe a change to increase my wages.

SO I earned some interest on the bank accounts and that's about where the income ends.

So I made more than $0 this week - I love it. Now to shoot for double digits.

Outside Wages Wednesday #1

So, I think it's time to start tracking my expenses better and also keep track of how much I am making outside of work. The logic being - what you focus on is much easier to track than what you don't focus on.

Now, I'm not going to share with the world what paltry pennies I make during my day job but, I do intend to share with you how much I spend each week and also how much outside the day job I bring home. My goal is to do this for at least a year but, who can predict the future?

So, for now I'll commit to do this each Wednesday until at least my birthday...in May.
